Come on in. Thanks for checking out this page.   I love this because this is where I get to load up the FX arsenal, dazzle the beauty, rough up the edges, feed the fantasy, and occasionally invent brand new worlds – in other words MAKE ART with you as Da Art.   Actually, our vision is “art working” to capture the most expressive beauty we can in all your photos all the time.   So, what choice Art Portraits are about is sweetening the images to a whole other level.  The result is something that says a ton more about you and your originality than any standard photograph can.

Right now they come in five different flavors. (Keep checking back though, cause I’ll keep on cooking up more styles).

01The first one we call “The Blender”.  With background blends, graphic imprints, torn edges, strokes, and tuning tweaks.  The Blender is all about getting inside the image with effects that bring on the feel whether it’s soft and tender or edgy or raw.

02The second style is called “Move over Mona”.  You know Mona Lisa, Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece.  Anyway this one is about turning your photo into a painting.  You can show up anywhere, from a vintage pop-art poster to a multimedia wall of graffiti.  Move over Mona.

03The third one we call “The Traveler”.  Where have you been?  Where do you dream of going?  From Alaska to Zimbabwe, or off of earth altogether.  You don’t have to go anywhere to be everywhere with the power of pixels.

04Coming in at number 4, “Me, Myself and I” is a composite of several pics, poses, places and moods wrapped up in one piece.

05Number 5 is the “All out Art Assault”.  Oooh ooooh, pick me.  The obsessed artist who wants to stay up for two days, working to perfect your piece calls out from inside me.  This one is where we throw some ideas around together and then essentially you say “go for it” and I do.

How do you get the creation going?

You have seen my work and you want to go directly for it as we do your photo shoot, or you have had your session and you’re thinking of using some of those pictures to work from. 

Either way, we will look together at the shots from your session to decide which ones you love the most and then which ones fit best into the different styles.  This is really fun.  We get to turn on the creative heat.  You direct me towards what you want.  I help you decide what you want with questions and examples, then I get to work.
