A beautiful weekend in October outside with wonderful fall colors and a temperature that was perfect was the day Candice and Josh tied the knot.  At the Wilderness Golf Club they wed, followed by a trip to the local ice hockey rink to take some fun photos of the bridal party and the bride and groom.  I was wise enough to bring my snow boots and coat, so it was comfortable on the ice.  We had a great time and the guys at Poppy Watermans were so nice to us.  Candice had said to me when we met that Josh wasn't particularly fond of his photo being taken, but once i found out he liked ice hockey and suggested we go there for some photos, it all changed.  It was so much fun to photograph you both.  Congratulations! 

What a beautiful fall day we had for Dave and Melissas wedding this last weekend.  Melissa, the most elegant bride and Dave swept up in love with his new wife, celebrated their marriage with family and freinds at Chula Vista.  Directly after the wedding it was on the "Ducks" for an adventure!  We had a blast!  Stoping at the Gulch, then the Riverwalk, and heading back to the reception for great fun, great food, awesome candy, cake and lots of love.  Thanks Dave and Melissa, we had a fantastic time with you!! Congrats!

Beautiful Cristina and George.  What a great couple!  Just loved being with you guys and your whole family.  Such love... it really was a wonderful experience to witness.  You are both so loved.  We lucked out with the weather and it was just a fabulous day.  Thanks and congrats!

Lauren & Ryan are officially hooked.  Nearly caught a fish too.... it just got away!  We had a fabulous day in Reedsburg, followed by a reception at the Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells.  Congratulations!!

I had such a fun time with Monica, Jeff and Isabel.  We laughed a lot, and Isabel had such an adventure being outside!  Look at the passion oozing from her.  Monica and Jeff are just wonderful parents and Isabel is their pride and joy.  Isabel would not co-operate at all, but it really didn't matter.  We just let her do her own thing and i followed her around and we ended up with some sweet pictures.  Children have a mind of their own, and i find its best to join with it rather that fight it and it ends up being a fun experience.  A fun session.  Thanks guys!

Dear friends Alissa and Jon tied the knot on the windiest day ever...... if you saw the bride - you were litterally blown away!!

It was such a wonderful wedding... the two of them looked absolutely stunning and lots of fun was had by all.  Their little son parker was so keen to walk the rings down the aisle to Uncle Chris, i could barely get a photo.

Alissa's dad built the archway that they stood under to be married and was of great sentiment and love.  We found some fun places to take photos of the boys beforehand and the girls were fashionably late, but it didn't matter as we got what we needed to get and went with the flow.... and the wind...... it was a beautiful ceremony, then we headed to the pub on the corner then the Clarion for the reception.

I loved bing in the field with the hay bales and the fall colors.... it seemed more calm there and we had a load of fun!  Thanks to Kate my assistant and freind for doing such an awesome job!

Congratulations Jon and Alissa!  It was an honor and pleasure being with you on your wedding day.

 

I came to alejandro and Christina's wedding as a guest not knowing if there was going to be a photographer or not, with the intention of taking some shots to give to them as a gift.

It was a beautiful wedding, with dear freinds all around.... Lois (the minister)  is funny without meaning to be and is just wonderful.  The music was spectacular, with Luis singing his heart out, doug on piano and of course John on bass.  It was tasteful and filled with light.

There was laughter, tears and so much joy!  I really love weddings.  Alejandro and Christina are such a beautiful couple.... really sharing a true moment of joining with the reality of their being in God.  I was so grateful to be there.  I loved how the whole family was on skype and able to witness everything... also his son was able to give his blessing and wishes  through Alejandro's sister, it was precious....

I decided to take photos without using a flash (well i did take a few just to see the difference)... the natural light at the MHC was gorgeous and it was really fun being a guest at a wedding and taking photos... it was so delightful to just simlply enjoy taking photos.

Love you guys! Had a blast....

It was an amazing day with Adam and Cat.  We started at the beautiful St Joseph's in Baraboo, having laughs... everyone seemed familiar as i had photographed Tammy & Brad's wedding last year and they are best friends.  The boys were a riot (mostly police officers - i won't name any names)... And as you can see they were cuffed for a moment when we first started taking photos at the Riverwalk.... we were left without a key!! Panic set in for a moment, but then they were unlocked for the rest of the photos.  The bridal party were so much fun!  Thumbs up to everyone (private joke).  We went to Chulla Vista for the reception, we everyone enjoyed the celebration of this awesome couple...

It was a great day to trek to this great spot in the Dells.... Conquering her fear of heights, (unbeknowns to me until we were up there), she didn't look down much.... on a perfect afternoon....
